For the last ten years I have pursued a career in snowboarding, both as a professional athlete and film producer.
Without a Paddle

Without a Paddle is an adventure film that blends the history of the upper Columbia River with a 140km paddle from the foot of the Mica Dam to the top of the Revelstoke Dam.
Four intrepid snowboarders seek to retrace a portion of David Thompsons footsteps down the Columbia River, in the middle of January, during one of the coldest snaps in recorded history in Revelstoke.
The film was featured in film festivals around the world, and won “best mountain short film” in Film Festival Kitzbuhel.

Hungry for clips and greedy for turns, Johan Rosen, Garrett “Worm” Warnick and friends spent the season leaving no line unridden and no pillow unsmashed. Driven by the most unsatisfiable of desires, finding good snow, the crew spent the season running from warm temperatures and chasing down a dream. To get to the promise land, they found themselves traveling… Northbound & Around.

The prevailing climate threat has made a group of Swedish extreme skiers and snowboarders travel with trains and boats from Stockholm through Russia all the way to Japan, in search of deep powder and the adventure of a lifetime. A great amount of humour, hectic meetings and world-class riding sums up this epic journey.
The movie was featured on the Banff International Film Tour, as well as many film festivals around the world

Cloud V0E by Johan Rosen is a short film shot in the mountains surrounding Revelstoke, British Columbia in 2018, featuring Johan Rosen, Ben Bilocq, Jess Kimura, Charles Reid, Mark Tremblay, Keith Martin, and the Wasted Youth. The title comes from a wordplay of mixing the expression cloud nine (the state of euphoria) and the postal code of Revelstoke
